To mark the 40 years of its foundation, the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology (IZIIS-Skopje), University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius", Skopje, Republic of Macedonia organizes an International Conference "Earthquake Engineering in 21st Century (EE-21C)" in the period 27 August - 1 September 2005. The EE-21C official opening will be in Skopje on 27 August and the technical sessions will be held in Ohrid from 28 August - 1 September.

 

An extraordinarily distinguished group of researchers will be delivering Plenary, Keynote, and Invited contributions. Special Theme Sessions on topics of current world-wide interest and on some relevant ongoing projects are foreseen to be organized.  Some details on the EE-21C are presented in attached documentation. For further details, please see: http://www.iziis.edu.mk/EE-21C

 

NEW DEADLINES:

*   March 31, 2005:     Pre-registration (extended from February 28)

*   April 30, 2005:        Submission of abstracts (extended from March 31)

 

The pre-registration process is an inquiry to assure the best organization of Conference programme. LOC would appreciate it very much for your response even beyond the above stated date.


While every effort will be made to accommodate the authors and speakers with special circumstances, we sincerely hope and request you to adhere to the ABOVE DEADLINES, as they will immensely help in organizing EE-21C in an efficient manner.
