The epicenter was close to Zakopane (Poland) near High Tatry
Mnts.(Slovakia), where few days ago, strong windstorm damaged significant
part of forests. Therefore, the earthquake caused panic reaction of some
people in this area.
The earthquake was felt on large area of Northern, Central and Eastern
Slovakia.

No damage to buildings was reported to us yet.
The Geophysical Institute, Slovak Academy of Sciences performs macroseismic
survey using our questionnaires.
