Witness location : Ayios Nikolaos (Greece) (75 km SW from epicenter)

 στην αρχη ξεκινησε με ελαφρια ταλάντωση και μετά ...ήταν παραξενος! σπασμωδικός και πάνω κάτω...εγω μπόρεσα να έιμαι όρθια και να περπατήσω ...στο 1 κμ απο εδώ τα πόδια τους είπαν χοροπηδούσαν

In the past i felt a lot of earthquakes. I am a civil engineer and i 've studied about aerthquakes. It felt like a very strong earthquake but it lasted for a very short period of time. Acctually it was not more than 6-7 seconds. that is the main reason that there were no more problems in the area.

The sound was very frightening.No shaking, it was all  over Crete, but no reaction by anyone.
