It was very frightening experience. Some parts of the city have been damaged severely, others less seriously.
After this major earthquake, we felt more than dozen smaller ones, some strong enough to shake down bricks that were hanging from damaged buildings.

Cula se prvo tutnjavina kao da sedim na tunelu a voz dolazi.
Zvuk je bio sve jaci a zatim i drhtanje poda,sve jace i jace.Cuo se jeziv huk iz zemlje.Ispod nogu mi se drmao pod.Kao da se ispod zemlje valjalo ....kao grudva snega.
Zvuk je vec bio zaglusujuc,a onda je nastao mrak i zvuk lomljavine po stanu,prozorska stakla su vibrirala cas napolje ,cas unutra,skripala su vrata,pod,i onda snazan tresak.Trajalo je 20-30 sekundi.Najduzih 30 sekundi u mom zivotu.
I sad kad se setim ...jeza ide kroz mene.

It was terrible! I never thought I was going to experience something like that. I was woken up by a strong twitch, after which it felt like the train was going through the house. the sound was absolutely horrifying! The most frightening sound I have ever heard! And the shaking lasted very long... at about 30 seconds. And the earthquake seemed to have been speeding up through those 30 seconds... I don`t know what to say, except that only people from Kraljevo and near surrounding, maybe in 10 or 20 kilometers area, could have had the real experience of 5.4 Richter earthquake... like hell was rising from the ground...

It lasted unusually long. 
People are saying they first heard a sound, like a storm is coming, and then came the shaking, weak at first, and then strong with roaring and woodwork crunching. I was asleep, and woke up at strong shaking. Heard roaring and woodwork stretching.

First i heard noice and it was like its comeing from outside the house,then glass things started making noice. And doors on my shelf opened.

it was maybe for 3-4 seconds.And yea my parot started making noice few seconds before it happened

Pretty strange considering i barely felt the shaking(actually i don't think i felt it at all),but there were loud noises and rumbling but intensity of the rumbling was low(e.g. as if someone was running compared to storm like sounds which occur during 'normal' earthquake).

nemam komentara samo bih volela da mi kazete da li ce biti jos ovakvih potresa jer imam troje male dece od 1,3 i 5godina a zivimo na zadnjem spratu .ovo je bilo strasno iskustvo i ja ne smem da spavam od straha.hvala.mirjana stepanovic
