We were in a campervan a few metres from the beach and I was concerned about the risk of a Tsunami.

It felt very strong and lasted long. I was awake on the ground floor, but people from the 1st floor and the houses next door woke up before the trembling was over. Small bottles & vases fell. My dog woke in panic and dogs from all over the town were barking loud. This was the strongest shake since June 2008.

This earthquake was one of the more powerful ones I have encounted over the last 4 years, that was probably because it was so near the surface. Quite violent shakeing movement of the house, lasted approx 10 - 15 seconds, no damage caused.
