Witness location : 4 Km NE Planos (Greece) (26 km W from epicenter)

I was outside of my house faceing east towards the Greek mainland. The noise of the rumbling of the earthquake travelled from the direction of Kyllini under the house in a westerly direction.  My wife and son were inside the house and they said the glass in the windows was visibly moveing, crockery, ornaments etc shook and rattled. The wood roof beams of the house could be heard creaking.  No damage caused.  I would estimate it lasted between 5 - 8 seconds.

We are used to tremors here but, because the latest ones are shallow, they seem stronger,very wobbly and last quite a few seconds.

Nothing to compare to as my first earthquake experience but felt quite strong for approx 8-10 seconds. I was in a beach bar so nothing shaking but could visibly see the ground moving and others around all clearly felt it too.
