As if d bed was shaking badly n nothing else

The earthquake felt very strong but it was very short duration of shaking. Got up to head outside but before I reached the door it stopped suddenly.

I was sleeping and it was around 12AM.. Suddenly i felt like i was moving.. My bed was shaking. I woke up and saw the fan(as its winter here with fan was off) fan was also moving.. The shock was very little and lasted 5-8 secs.. I came down my building and saw my neighbors also coming down.. soon after 10-15 more people came down.. Electricity wires were still shaking. We sat out for 20mins and went back our homes after that.
