The earthquake itself started with an initial tug or jerk, then the bed I was on began to wobble side to side and it was understandable that there was an outside force doing this.  Very slight feeling of nausea at the time it happened and as it was happening, I touched other objects to determine if they were affected too and they were.  Oddly, there was no sound at all from the event.

I was sitting on a mattress on the floor and felt the mattress swaying around 7.30 am (Kuwait Time)

it was about 8 a am i was on the bed trying to catch some sleep suddenly i felt drowziness as my head was moving away from, just for a whie, i thought it could be because of lack of sleep (as we went to bed at 5 am). But my wife too had the same experience.
