Witness location : Djibouti (Djibouti) (54 km SW from epicenter)

It happened shortly after midnight Djibouti time. My roommate was on the first floor casino and never felt it. I asked him about it when he arrived about 45 mins later. He stated he heard two other people talking about the building shaking and swaying, but didn't know they were talking about the Kempenski building. It started from the floor. I was barefoot, sitting, working on my computer. I felt the floor vibrating/rumbling for about 2 or 3 seconds. Then there was a boom, and the entire room shook. My 42" T.V. trembled on the T.V. stand and the liquid in my half-full glass visibly shook and splashed (Although, not enough to come out of the glass. I have experienced small earthquakes before in California, so I had a good idea that's what was happening here.
