Surprised by the length of the event and the feeling of nausea as the building swayed.  We went outside and could feel the car swaying.  There was a feeling that the earth was slowly moving.

27 Oct 2012  8:08 pm PDT.  I was watching the TV.  I felt something unusual and heard what sounded like water running or bubbling in the bathroom.  I paused a movie to investigate and noticed a chandelier swinging and wind chimes tinkling.

I could see and hear the blinds on the windows swaying back and forth and the plant was moving so when I got up and moved around the house the lights were swaying for almost 5 minutes. Nothing moved enough to fall.

I was on the phone with someone from smithers bc and felt the earthquake about one-two minutes after they started to feel the movement

I was programming my heating system when I heard something shaking. I turned back and saw all hanging objects (lights) swinging. the walls were not....
I thought at an earthquake and wanted to see if there was one in Whitehorse area.
There was only this one, may be is it the wave?

Felt 3-4 small jerky motions at around 4:09am PST. With each motion, I heard the birds chirp outside  in the wooded lot next door in unison with the motion. They quit once it was finished.

I in the master bedroom of our house watching tv and I noticed our hanging light swinging very slightly on its own.  I had the idea that there might have been an Earthquake in BC so I googled current earthquakes and discovered that there had been the Queen Charlotte Islands Earthquake about 10 minutes or so before.  Do you think that what I saw here in Alberta could have been caused by this Earthquake?
