It shook the house and the couch for 7 seconds with a low rumble like thunder. Started weak, grew in strength and ended all at once. No tremor after, none else heard or felt in my house but neighbor felt and heard it. At first I thought the dog was behind the couch scratching fleas. The shaking was a wave that had peaks and valleys in the same time duration as the speed of the dog scratching fleas.

It felt like when someone mis-loads a washing machine and it's unbalanced.  It was distinctive and lasted nearly a minute include what felt like a couple of short aftershocks.  I was sitting at a desk and while nothing fell over, the floor, desk and monitor were shaking considerably.  I glanced through the window but the trees/leaves did not appear to be swaying or shaking.

barely noticed anything.  heard some rattling that surprised me, and the dog barked.  i did not feel anything though personally.  a few minutes after the incident, on facebook, some friends 100 miles south in Cincinnati mentioned it was the earthquake.  my natural conclusion is that it could be related.  again, very faint rattling of plates/windows/doors, little to no motion felt.

I said above that it was a trembling, but it also had a rolling feel to it, almost like a pulse so I wasn't sure what to say in the way of description. I've never reported before, but it freaked me out and for a moment I thought it was the beginning of the house having a structural problem. Glad to see it was an earthquake instead.
