Witness location : 40 Km E Rabo de Peixe (Portugal) (78 km NW from epicenter)

This was the largest hearthquaeck that i felt. We were shaking for aprox. 30 seg. My dog desapeared for a long time. i'am not very shor about the sound of the hearthquaek, because when it was strnger i was a sleep, when i wake up, i thought i had been dreaming about it and i have a memory of the sound in my sleep. i realize i was in a hearthquaek when a heard the sound of some objects claping against each outher.

I was working at my PC and the monitor swung right and left. I felt the earth quake for about 15 seconds.

Witness location : 100 Km NE Vila Franca do Campo (Portugal) (126 km N from epicenter)

The noise (it looked like an airplane, when it started) was completely separated from the quake, that is, the movement of the ground started when the noise finished. The movement was fully horizontal, never vertical.

Witness location : Angra (Portugal) (279 km NW from epicenter)

I felt for about 5 seconds the ground moderated shaking. I was awake. 
After about 10 seconds some neighborhood dogs started to bark for a while.
