My phone (galaxy A12) has an earthquake alert on settings when I got it, I switched it on, sitting in the bedroom my phone gave a tone on the screen flashed earthquake imminent 5sec later hit with the s wave it was to me as a slow rolling sensation which told me that it was deep (5mi deep)at least, we might not be able to predict earthquakes but ,as I was shown firsthand we are able to alert,which is the better than nothing ...... by the way I live in eastern Modesto Ca0
