Darwin (Coconut Gove) Australia (just got to get on a computer now because my iphone is being repaired) : Certainly felt that one here in Coconut Grove/Nightcliff (Darwin, NT) - long and strong! My wall clock was reading precisely 4am, woke with the bed shaking quite vigorously and things rattling on the bedside. This went on for quite some time (not sure how long it had been going for before I actually woke fully from sleep), then, just as it seemed to settle down and stop, it started up again and went for an 'encore' of about another 5 or six seconds or so right at the end. There also seemed to be a distant rumbling sound going on as well (but not sure if that was just a large jet throttling up at nearby Darwin airport?). One of the strongest quakes (most certainly the longest duration one) I have ever felt here in Darwin over the last 36 years of permanent residency.+7
