My husband and I were watching TV when we felt our couch shake. We sometimes feel our house shake when a train goes by but it wasn’t the train. It only lasted for a few seconds but enough to take notice. We live in St.Albert Alberta.+1

Occurred at 5:57 local time. Felt it sitting on my couch. Wasn’t sure what it was but both my husband and I looked at each other as we both felt a rocking motion. Initially asked, ‘could that be an earthquake?”0

In a high-rise, felt the building shaking. A heavy door that was open was also swaying from the building's movement. Lasted long enough for me to get concerned about my safety. +1

https://lnkd.in/gaWrJ4mS I live in Edmonton and felt it. My easy boy recliner I was sitting in, I could feel it swing side to side. Thought it was my cat at first. Then I looked up at the Christmas Tree and saw all the ornaments moving and the tree angel at top. Glanced to my right and noticed my Aquarium water was not level, but sloshing a little. Called my wife in from the kitchen to see this happening, then hit Twitter 48 seconds later to confirm with the locals and on my #HamRadio This, is the only reason that site should exist. But.. I digress. #yeg #yegwx #yegtraffic #yegquake #Alberta #Canada0

I am in SW Edmonton and around 6pm I was on the couch with my dog and I felt and heard the ground shake and the house sway for about 5-7 seconds. I watched the decorations on the tree and the pendulum lights above the island sway back and forth as well. Very weird experience. It felt like an 18 wheeler hit the house really hard. I texted my husband as soon as it happened. This is not really a photo of it happening it's more of the conversation I sent my husband after it happened.0

It felt like when the wash machine is on spin cycle….and it’s unbalanced. Just a faint shake in the house enough that i saw the light beside me wiggle a bit. Strange feeling+1
