I was in bed at the time and it felt like I was almost bouncing in it. I don't know what it would have been like to be standing or walking at the time. I froze and stayed in my bed in an attempt to assess the danger. There was a violent rolling motion beneath my bed. The windows were rattling badly and I'm surprised none are broken in my parents' room which was where I seemed to hear most of the rattling coming from. The windows rattled for longer than the tremor was felt. I was surprised that my alarms did not go off. The lights were off and so I couldn't see if anything was moving. But nothing fell over. Dogs started barking at least half an hour before the quake started.0
