Felt like a washing machine

Rumbling, at first assumed construction on the floor above me, followed by slight movement of hanging light fixtures. Approximately 30 seconds in duration. Brooklyn, NY

My washer had just entered the spin cycle and I honestly thought it was just not handling all the towels that well. I heard a picture frame fall from a dresser and my dog was unsettled (mostly because of the picture falling). There was no damage.

I have a heavy large mirror that's 12 feet tall that was intensely vibrating as well as the rest of apartment shaking

Trembling with hum

Sitting on chair in cafe the whole building was shaking multiple times about 15 bouts of shakes. Shelves rattling it felt like the boiler in basement was boiling about to explode

Shaking for 5-10 sec. No damage

Everything was shaking.

Easily felt but nothing in the apartment was visibly shaking.

She whole building shook and trembled

At work. Felt like the subway.

Less than 30 seconds of shaking

Thought it was a big truck coming fast and then realized the shaking was side to side.
