minor low rumble type of earthquake, felt like a subway car passing directly underground

Whole house was shaking for a good minute.

Felt a quake for a few seconds

No damage but a vibration/pulse feeling

I heard a low but loud rumbling sound and everything in the house was shaking which I could hear too. I think it lasted about 15 seconds.

Shaking bed. Rattling mirror (unframed, leaning against the wall), cats ran and hid. No known damage, but called a friend to make sure it was not exclusive to my building

I lived in LA for 2 years. I know a quake when I feel one!

Was pouring coffee and felt like a updown tremor

I was in a 5.3 in CA maybe 30 years ago. This one in NYC was short but super intense. It felt like a full shaking. The CA one was more rolling. I immediately ran to the doorway of my office. It actually took maybe a minute for my lampshade and totebag (hanging on a chair) to stop swaying.

NYC. Felt shaking, items moved on desk

Strong rumble in an 12th floor prewar office building.

Side to side shake. Things fixed to walls rattled. VESA 70" TV (wall mount) visibly resonated. Felt on 4th floor brownstone/brick building. No visible damage. Nothing fell off shelves. No power or network (FiOS) interrupted.

It felt as though the ground under my building was unstable and I kept looking to my walls for cracks but found none.
