Was sitting on the couch k itting when I felt the house and ground shaking and rumbling. I grew up in Seattle and have lived in Taiwan. I knew instantly it was an earthquake.

whole house shakes for about 10 to 15 seconds!

Furniture shook nothing fell lasted maybe four seconds

Slight shaking

Whole house vibrated for 20 seconds. Funny buzzing noises from beams and wires in the wall and ceiling that were vibrating. Felt the floor moving in my second story apartment. No noticeable damage.

Very unusual in this area

First a stronger shake, bit less then it came back a bit. Felt like a subway passing by a floor below

Rumble, thought it was a passing truck at first but more vibrating throughout the house!

Entire house was shaking. Felt like 15 seconds or so

My building on the Upper East side of Manhattan shook for a few seconds. Table lamp rattled and we heard rumbling in the walls. I have never felt anything like this and thought someone had rammed the building.

I was in bed but there was a rumble and it felt like the whole house was shaking. A couple small items fell off the edge of my dresser, and then it was over.

Felt the shaking from the top of the apartment building down, as if a helicopter was landing on the roof. Lasted about 7 seconds.
