Felt really strong shaking in Hastings on Hudson NY

I was confused did feel like light trembling under my feet. I thought it was a very heavy truck passing by since I had the TV on and I was talking to my mom My ftaher thought it was an earthquake since he was sitting in his room quietly. I though it was my plastic garbage cans dragging on the floor in my back yard. But when shw told me that the garbage was in the fron t of the house. I knew it was an earthquake since I was n the back of the house in the kitchen last like 3 seconds

Entire house shook, I originally thought there was a heavy appliance malfunctioning

Building slightly shook/vibrated, some windows rattled.

My bathroom started shaking and everything in my medicine chest and it lasted for what felt like quite a bit of time. But right before it happened my three dogs started barking. No damage

No measurable damage. Substantial shaking and rattling of home/gound

Confusion about what is happening

Deep rumbling and shaking in Pelham, NY for 5 seconds.

Western Pocono area in PA.Felt definite shaking, thought our washer was out of balance. One started barking, others didn't bark at all. The barking dog continued barking and running around property for about 5 minutes after the event.Friend was driving, she felt nothing.

I was on the fourth floor. The whole building vibrated. Nothing fell off of desks but it was strong enough and lasted long enough to cause concern.

The shaking and the humming woke me up from sleep

Felt like a large jet or military helicopter was flying low overhead, the house was rumbling, light shaking.
