Rattling and creaking noises, nothing falling off shelves - just some excitement.

Window rattled, but no significant shaking

I was on the phone with someone on Staten Island, an he exclaimed, What is this?” About 10 seconds later, my house started shaking. No damage.

Def noticed it and it sounded/felt like a truck passed by

Probably only felt it because I was lying down. We have construction and a major highway nearby, so I thought that was it until I started to see reports.

This is the second one I have ever felt and I heard a lot of water slashing around in the basement as I laid on my bed with it shaking a lot and for what seems like several seconds

House shook. Animals got nervoud

Walls and windows shook. Computer monitors were shaking.

Windows were rattling like crazy and it continued for at least 30 seconds. No planes or wind visible but I've never experienced an earthquake before.

Felt like my room (on the fourth floor) was going to fall off the building

Whole house shook for about 20 seconds .

Our whole house shook really hard for 3 seconds and then vibrated for about 30 seconds.

I was laying on the ground...felt very artificial to me...

Al the furniture began to shake for approx. 30 seconds

The whole tone went up as the earthquake happened like a very harsh hum accompanied by a rapidly increasing vibration that was quite intimidating. I thought at first our boiler downstairs had gone out of control and was getting ready to blow up. Going back the 54 years we have lived here in Danbury Connecticut we had one other earthquake that felt like a subway train had traveled under the house.
