Everything shook

Somerset, NJ, the whole apartment building shook!!

Severe shaking of the house, rocking back and forth. Less than a minute.

That was the strongest earthquake I’ve ever felt in New Jersey, I thought my house was coming down

Whole house shook

Definitely felt shaking, but not enough to warrant damage to anything

We felt a rumbling and heard the noise- like a big, fast train coming very close to us? And we looked at each other and ran outside with our dog, whose hair went right up in fear. Outside all the dogs in the neighborhood were barking. Then it was over.

In Chatham, we felt the shaking

No damage. Nothing fell off walks or flat surfaces. Windows vibrated & rattled, floors trembled

A rumbling started while I was in the restroom. It started like there was a huge cement truck just outside, but it kept building until the building was lightly shaking to the point I thought there might have been a nuclear bomb dropped somewhere a few miles away

everything was shaking and the water in our creek was sloshing

I was laying in my bed half awake, half asleep & thought at first that someone had kicked the garage door. It was a at first a big jolt followed up quickly with a violent rolling & shaking motion which lasted about 10 seconds or so. I felt like my Tempur-pedic bed had instantly become a water bed with the massage feature turn onto maximum overdrive. It knocked a couple books off the shelf & several items nearly fell off the dresser.

Heard heavy rumbling noise and slight movement, no damage

No damage but super scary the whole house was shaking and lights were rattling for what seemed like over a minute.

Loud shaking, enough to rattle fixtures but not enough to knock anything over or cause damage to home structure.

The house shook for a few seconds.

Our house felt like it was vibrating for about 15 seconds and i thought something had exploded in the basement

There was a rumble that shook my bed for at least a couple seconds as if there was a train passing underneath/nearby.
