I initially thought that the train nearby was going by but then realize that the train is a little bit too far down the street for me to be filling it and it’s above ground. I was also on the phone with two other people and they say they felt shaken as well so I instantly knew it was an earthquake. I’m in the Bronx and they are in Brooklyn. There was no damage, but it was pretty frightening being that none of us have ever felt anything like that in New York City. I have been living here all my life and I am 28 years old.0
