At 2:02 am, I was in the kitchen when I heard what sounded like huge wind in the large trees close around the house. After major storm damage a couple of years ago, when multiple large trees came down causing a lot of damage to our house and property, I was quite scared that some trees were coming down in the wind. Then I realised it wasn’t wind. It was an earthquake. After a few seconds, the shaking and noise increased, the windows were rattling, the house was creaking, the frig and a few tall glass-doored cabinets were shaking, including items inside them. I had time to get to our kitchen table to climb under, when the shaking began to ease. No damage to anything, just shaking and noise. +1
