It shook the house and the couch for 7 seconds with a low rumble like thunder. Started weak, grew in strength and ended all at once. No tremor after, none else heard or felt in my house but neighbor felt and heard it. At first I thought the dog was behind the couch scratching fleas. The shaking was a wave that had peaks and valleys in the same time duration as the speed of the dog scratching fleas.

I was sitting on the floor in my living room and could feel the rumble come from the ground up intil it got very strong & everything in my house shook. It only lasted about 15 seconds start to finish but the shaking was severe enough to knock things over in my china cabinet & make my floor lamp sway. Wow!

Total time felt was about 15-20 seconds. Live in an old solid brick home and could feel the house shake. Nothing fell from shelves and no house damage. Was in Bowling Grren Ohio in 1985 or 1986 when earthquake was felt there. Today's quake had stronger vibrations than what I experienced there.
