Just woke me up at 3am ish felt like something shaking my bed and there were a few things falling of the walls.

Both my husband and I woke up to shaking of the house and what sounded like an explosion. This was followed by all the seagulls squalking loudly going mad. It was really freaky and I am still quite shaken from it.0

Very frightening .... knew it wasn't thunder as rumble definitely coming from beneath the house ........ Phoned parents to ensure ok and went on Facebook to see loads of comments and confirmation that it was earthquake nearby0

Bit of a boom like a rumble of thunder then the house shook for 7-10 seconds maybe. Was rough to start..... Afterwards all the seagulls/birds started squawking and dogs barking etc!!!! 0
