It confused me at first as to what was going on as I was fast asleep. I could feel the house shaking and thought a car had driven into the house. It was only after it had stopped and the sea gulls kicked up a fuss I realised it must have been a quake. A very unnerving experience to be awoken in such away.0

We felt a rumbling, and banging, like something was running hard across the roof. Soon after, the gulls on a neighbour's roof started squawking, and continued for several minutes.

I heard a low frequency vibration, perhaps like a helicopter overhead but louder than normal, then a rushing sound like very heavy rain sweep along a flat roof attached to the side of the house, while that vibration continued. I then noticed an interior door swinging slightly because the reflection of a light in its glass panels was moving back and forth. The vibration faded away. The whole experience was maybe 6 to 10 seconds. 0

Lots of rambling and shaking for 10secs or so. Made the items on the bedside table clatter together. Power of nature is amazing! !0
