So I was laying in bed, but just dosing after feeling really sick during the night. Being a teen I always go on my social media before I sleep. I remember I was on snapchat or something at about 2:30am. I put my phone down at roughly 2:40am and was trying to sleep. I dosed off but I wouldn't say I was 'fast asleep'. It was roughly 2:45am - 2:50am when suddenly my bed shook and I heard makeup and jewellery falling off my dressing table and jewellery stand. I jumped up in shock and shouted out to my mum. She run in asking what had happened and I said what did you think happened? She said 'the whole room just shook, or was I dreaming?' I replied 'yes that's what I just experienced.' We went downstairs to see if there was anything on the news yet but there wasn't. We began to panic thinking had something hit our house? It didn't help as no other neighbours had any lights on or appeared to be awake, it was as if we were the only ones to experience it! We went back upstairs where I looked online and found this website! I cannot tell you how scared we both were and how terrifying it actually was! I think it's safe to say I wouldn't want to experience another earthquake!!!

It sounded like all the central heating pipes were banging together. I've just had a new heating system installed and thought it was going to blow up. Quite thankful when I found out it was an earthquake0
