For us, we were sitting on the couch and initially it felt like an extremely strong wind gust had hit the house (a similar noise where the house creaks and groans) but when it happened 3 times or so in a matter of about 5 seconds, it certainly felt like 'waves' with the house moving sideways. Such a strange experience! Also noticed a few new cracks in the plaster ceiling.0
