I heard the earthquake before I felt it. It sounded like a large vehicle moving closer towards my house. The earthquake arrived with a bang.0

About 10 seconds. Started slow then a bigger rumble. Hope everyone is okay.0

My first time feeling an earthquake! So scary for me0

Heard a low rumble for approximately 3-5 seconds before the shaking which felt like my home was slipping on ice, it seemed to last for about 5-8 seconds.

I live 12km from Epicentre. House shook, loud rumple and the ground literally was moving. Didn't last long, maybe 15-45secs.0

We were in bed and we're shaken awake by a brief event. Everything was vibrating around us. Nightstands, dressers, etc. 0

Victoria (Canada)
Yes. Definitely grew in intensity, beginning with a low rumble to a stronger shaking of the windows. Felt like it would've built into a more significant duration but tapered off quickly0

Woke me up, the dog barked and that was about it0
Victoria (Canada)
Very quick. Like an explosion. I felt the house shift once. The dog barked, the hard wood floors made a loud crack noise and it was over as quick as it started. I didn't know it was an earthquake until I looked it up here. 0
Victoria (Canada)
It was the strongest one we have felt. Christmas tree was really shaking, dog was unsettled, traffic in front of the house seemed to be still moving. 0
