Bed was moving back and forth. Woke me up. Could hear rumbling sound. Knocked over ornament in my living room and plants hanging from ceiling were swinging. 0

Very quick, one sudden jolt. Felt like something hit the house. The couch I was sitting on felt like it jumped. I was watching The Walking Dead, now that's scary!0

Watching tv in bed in Vancouver near Main Street and 20th ave. Felt three shakes which moved the headboard then nothing. Good reminder to be prepared!0

It woke up my husband and me. Hubby has never felt one before but it was quite familiar for me. Went to check on the kids and they were fine. Little one slept right through but I think our 3 year old noticed. 0

I went to go sit down in my bathroom, just as I sat down I heard a noise. It reminded me of when a large sheet of fabric hits the ground. I then felt my house shake. When I left the room my cat was clearly on edge and I felt very uneasy myself. I quickly grabbed my phone and went to see whether everyone had felt this, my friends were having a conversation over text and I realized that it had been felt over all of Vancouver. I jumped onto social media where everyone was in a panic over the 4.9 earthquake.0

Our old building shook wildly. I was watching TV. My daughter was was sleeping. Ran to her room and we huddled in the doorway until it seemed safe. My heart was racing!0
