Omg, I was full of sleep and suddenly felt heavy shaking, even I'm sleeping alone at this bed then I tried to get up and run but for the thickness of earthquake It taken more time to me to get up from bed and run out of my home.

We all woke up as the quake lasted more than 30-49 seconds here at Shillong.Lights went off for 2 minutes maybe as a precaution but was scary.I live in an Assam type wooden house so the floor swayed and the water tank in the ceiling made swishing sounds and I was afraid it would fall out of the ceiling so I ran out of bed and all the dogs kept barking.Windows were making shattering sounds but no damage reported as yet.Epicentre is Manipur-6.8 scale and shallow quake so here it must be approx 5.5 I think.All the best friends0
