Apporoxemately 15-20 seconds of shaking.

I have never experienced a earthquake before so I got really scared cause I didn't know what was happening. I was leaning to a wall at the time and it was shaking. It sounded like a really big airplane.

A big shake with the house shaking with a few seconds of smaller shakes

i was just Going to Sleep when My whole apartment started shaking and that scread the Crap out of me, i jumped out of bed and i almost fell when i stod beside My bed

Just woke up because of the house was shaking, it stopped shortly then started again. Never felt anything like this before. 3 out of 4 in the family woke up due to the earthquake.

Bed shaking, sound like a washingmachine

The house shook for about 5-10 seconds. Nothing major, but I have never felt an earthquake that much before where I live.

It felt and sounded sort of like a train went by the house

It was a very grooming sound that appeared slighty between the earthquake. It was simply amazing

I thought it was a truck getting into my back yard. The noise was very strong.

Sat on the couch watching Robocop and thought the effects were really awesome since it sounded like thunder. Then I felt the ground shaking. It felt like we were sitting on a washing machine that was centrifuged. Went out and checked if any snow had fallen from the roof but saw no sign of it. Called my mother who lives 2km away and they had felt it too,thought it was a big truck passing.

Went on for 15 sec or so..

If I would have lived near a railway I would have thought is was a freight train who passed.
