My first quake! I was awakened from a sound sleep by the bed shaking and a loud noise. Heard things rattling on the shelves. My husband was awake and felt it coming. Also the dog was whimpering right before. 0

I was reading on the couch when I first heard the rattle...I didn't think much of it at first, I have forever loved in So Cal, so not many big ones. When the rattle intensified to a shake, I thought my son would wake up freaking out. I really thought it would stop pretty quick (just a little shake) but when it didn't I went to stand and couldn't, heard something fall off a shelf but did t know from where, my dog got out of bed and was pacing, husband woke up in, I know because the snoring stopped 😋. When it finally ended (you know like 30 seconds maybe 45 seconds later...) my husband hadn't realized what happened, so I checked on our son, who obviously could sleep through a "dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant" ( guess the movie!) and went back to my reading thinking that an aftershock would come but hasn't yet!0

I was just lying in bed and the bed shook very hard for several seconds. The walls in my mobile home shook and the home felt like it was riding a wave.0
