Woke up to quite strong shaking. My partner and I climbed out of window into garden as fast as we could. Maybe 10 seconds. Standing was difficult. Terrifying. Spent the rest of the night outside. Aftershocks still going on 9 hours later. In daylight saw things had fallen from shelves, drawers opened, night tables and shoe cupboard moved ~10 cm. Fish tank cracked. Some old buildings around had considerable damage. Dogs totally quiet, chickens quiet, cows quiet. Our cat came to sit with us until the morning. Strongest quake I felt, don't need this again.+2
