İt was like a big wave twirling and hitting the house with a grumbling noise. Lasted fairly long. My son (6) woke up in bed. The water in the pool was moving and continued to move even after many minutes. No stonewares or glasswares are broken, they did not even make rattling sounds. 0

Sat at a bar near sea in Marmaris, short rumble and shake for two seconds bruefly stopped then it REALLY started for 10 to 15 seconds severe shaking, everyone looking at each other not knowing what to do. I leave to rush home check my dogs who were on my 6th floor roof terrace I feared May have collapsed, all ok when I got home, people in streets till news media mention Tsunami, people leave to high ground, I to home! Rather be home at top of building than swept to drownding death!0

My husband and I were sleeping. It was 1.30 am. I woke up because I felt the bed was shaking terribly. I thought it was my husband having some medical problem, a violent cramp or something... I touched his back, it was not him shaking the bed. He opened one eye , still half asleep wondering. I told him this must be an earthquake. So he went on sleeping and so did I.... It was not my first earthquake in Turkey but it never was that strong!0
