First wondered if it was from the neighbours but it felt different. For the first time I felt like the whole building was moving (from the base). I was sat still on the bed, would not have felt it if doing something in the flat. The cat asleep on the bed apparently did not feel it at all!!0

Seems to have been particularly strong in the streets around HU5 from reports from neighbours and social media reports. Streets shook, door frames creaked and sounded/felt like a livery large vehicle passing by outside at speed for 5 seconds.0

The entire house shook for a few seconds. I leapt to my feet, thinking about going to get my 4yr old son upstairs, who remained asleep despite noises from chimney. When standing, the ground was shaking. I felt the tremor ripple very clearly from east to west up the street. With rumbles, shaking of house, then post-rumbles, it seemed to last around 10 seconds. It was pretty alarming - I worried about the masonry.0
