We were there on vacation. Sitting and talking in the living room and I kept wondering why the piece of furniture next to me kept touching my hand. Then the ground started to roll. It must have been a good 45 seconds. I had time to register what was going on, run to the door and call the kids in from outside, then find a safe spot in the house. Definitely a quiet, rolling earthquake. Felt like I was rocking on gentle waves in the ocean. Swinging chandeliers, but no noise. Very different from the rumbling earthquakes I experience back home.0
