Very specific sound. I was wake, first second and half it started very noisy, like a truck parked beneath the kitchen. Every item in the kitchen shook and resonated and then it started very fiercly. I ran for children and it felt like in a vessel on raging waves. That noise I cannot forget.

It came as a shock to all of us on an early Sunday morning. My house on the city's outskirts is sturdier than most of the old buildings in its historical center so I didn't experience any notable damage, only a few superficial cracks between the inner drywalls and ceiling on the upper floor.
