It shook so great that it woke us all up instantly. Never have we ever experienced such a force without any warning. Some things have fallen from the shelves in out flat. Many people also woke up in our neighbourhood and went out on the street in their pijamas thinking it will shake again. +1

Terrifing!! The noise, shaking, i woke up screaming yet not being able to breathe. Complete shock, pure fear! Next night i couldnt sleep at all, kept hearing noises, smaller shakes, so so scarry!!0

My family and neighbourghs fled from our building to nearest open space... Felt the ground shaking, few items fell from shelves. In our town older buildinfs were heavily damaged and one underage person suffered a craniocerebral injury, doctors are still fighting for her life.0

I was awake when that happened. I live in new building constructed by concrete, reinforced with steel bars. It was terrible noisy and the whole building was shaking as crazy. I was frozen and could not move anywhere. Furniture was moving through the apartment and miner staff (dishes, plates, vases, pictures) were falling on the floor. Seemed it lasted forever, actually it lasted about ten seconds. All the people left the building and waited outside what will happen next. During the day we had a few more strong earthquakes and later they were weaker. We are shaking already four days, but we get used to it. Older buildings are heavily damaged, new buildings constructed according the seismic regulations are ok. We had one victim, 15 years old girl was killed during the earth quake. There is a lot damage in the city, and recovery will be very costly, painful and long lasting. In parallel we cope with COVID-19. People was very calm and I noticed no panic.0
