This was my first time feeling an earthquake so I was pretty frightened. I was already awake laying in bed and then everything started swaying back and forth, I knew within a few seconds what was going on but it was definitely a surreal experience! I’d say it lasted between 20-30 seconds and I live in Spanish Springs, NV. -not too far from Sparks, NV. +8
