2 - 3 loud rumbles and a pulse of energy moved sideways through our house. Our ottoman with two rickety legs collapsed (collapses often if dogs or kid jump on it and we are constantly resetting legs, but nothing was on or near it at this time).

I was sitting on our floating dock when it drifted into the support beam. I never gave it a thought! We did hear a loud boom at the time of the earthquake. The wildlife was really acting strange as well.
