First tremor was milder. House shook a bit, neighbors felt it walking on the street. A small painting propped up on a dresser slid down onto its back. Second tremor everyone went outside their houses. House shook more, made walking slightly difficult. Dogs and chickens visibly upset.

2 separate quakes, second one seemed stronger, yet I see it is regarded as just one quake… was at least one minute or more in between them. Things fell off shelves and tipped over, nothing broke. Was very loud. Not really a jolt type of quake more continuous motion of shaking. Felt medium strong.

Sharp jolts, noisy, without rolling motion, house moved +/- along a north/south vector. Earth below our house has a lot of rock and is quite dry; well notes, top soil boulders & rock 15', clay 25', brown rock & clay 180', rock mi x 290', various mix rock gravel 350'. No cracking of dry wall or foundation were observed. Items on shelves was not knocked off, furniture and equipment did not moved. We were sitting and eating dinner.

Was right under my feet. Floor seemed to pitch and roll. I was standing up, and at the same time, hanging lights swinging hard, pantry door flew open . Bottles, cans and boxes flew out. Just a mess. All pictures askew. Very scary! Senior parks here, many small homes not retro-fitted or heavily braced, and no foundation.
