Hello,
I was in Strøby Egede south of Køge, approximately 30 km south of Copenhagen, when the earthquake could be felt.
At first, I experienced a deep rumbling sound and what felt like a pressure wave that slowly built up. It almost felt as if a wave moved in over and through the house.
The vibrations gradually became stronger over several seconds, and the whole house seemed to vibrate at a low frequency. My first thought was actually either an explosion or a fighter jet, because it felt so powerful and unusual compared to normal vibrations.
Then it suddenly stopped again.
