It is very unusual to feel any kind of tremors in this area, and they are usually from the train track! But this was a pretty loud rumbling and slight tremor, enough for my husband and I to leap out of bed thinking something had happened in the house, like a sleep-walking kid falling down the stairs or some shelving collapsing. We were very perplexed when all was quiet; outside too - we expected to see distant flames out the window as if there had been a distant explosion. It was a very short noise though - probably only a second or two.
