I was in Canakkale on the 3rd floor when I felt this. There was a sharp jolt - no sound - then a brief pause and then the swaying and rippling began. It felt long and files topples over but nothing fell or broke. Later in our village - Kuruoba - I asked our neighbours how it was but they said it was fine, not much. Some of my Canakkale colleagues were really freaked out. I just thought oh no, not this again. My neighbours and I are too used to earthquakes to worry much. I have felt many of the subsequent quakes faintly. It's awful for our Lesvos neighbours. I know what they are living through right now.

People here got information that this eartquake had affected the very west part of turkey. Istanbul, kocaeli, izmir which i already heard that there provinces felt this eartquake. I would say it lasted between 15 and 20 seconds or maybe up to 25!! And the effect photo would be the 4th öne. I ve chosem wrong one. It was more than a slight eartquake..
