I don’t know why this is registered as a 5.7. I have lived on Guam for almost 35 years, so I have been through a lot of shakers, from the weakest up to and including the 1993 7.8-8.2 major earthquake. This current quake was barely noticeable — barely moved my iMac screen — and didn’t even send a jolt through my desk chair, as 5.0 to 5.5 quakes usually do. Perhaps the epicenter was simply too far away from Guam, and closer to another island in our archipelago.0
