Well I have to be honest, I was still half asleep and thought it was just one of the cats jumping on the bed. But my other half said the earth moved for her, so either I’m amazing or we just had our first earthquake! Seriously though, yes our house shook and felt like someone might of ran a vehicle into our house. All the neighbours came out to confirm we weren’t going crazy!!!+5

It felt horrible. The whole house was shaking as if something huge and very heavy hit the roof or my neighbours house (they're end of terrace). I never suspected we'd have it in here. 0

Lying in bed reading. Suddenly around 09.45 a loud bang shook the house. The windows swayed from side to side. The cats fled in terror. I was shocked and thought maybe the oil tanks or the boiler had exploded. Phoned 999 and Police said many calls had been received. Seems there has been an earthquake....need to check exterior of house......-1
